Nina Ghataora is a children’s illustrator and pattern designer based in Leeds, UK.

After a long career in finance she studied for a BA in surface pattern design at Leeds Arts University, during this time she developed a love for children’s books and storytelling. Since graduating in 2016 she has worked as a freelance illustrator and print designer, working for various studios and clients worldwide. Her clients include; Legami, Amazon, Tommee Tippee, Crate and Barrel and her first board book ‘Let’s celebrate Diwali’ was published by Mudpuppy in 2025.

She creates bold, colourful illustrations, combining hand-made textures with digital drawings. Often influenced by her Indian heritage and love for pattern, she enjoys creating fun illustrations filled with quirky characters and hidden humour.
