Ana Stretcu is a Romanian author, illustrator and all-around maker of fun things.

Ana rediscovered her love of drawing after putting the crayons aside for 15 years while trying to be a “serious” adult. Luckily she failed miserably at it, so she is now focusing on taking silly things seriously. Using bright colors, maybe-too-stubborn-for-their-own-good characters and a sense of humor developed by watching too many cartoons and sitcoms from the 90's, Ana enjoys telling stories that make you go haha, but also hmm and sometimes even aww.

These days when she’s not working on a new story, you can find Ana chalklettering the local café sign, wandering through thrift stores or daydreaming about the day she can get a chicken and name it Henrietta.
