Lucy Salmon
IllustratorLucy is an illustrator and author based near Bath, UK, and she graduated with a distinction from Cambridge School of Art, with an MA in Children’s Book Illustration earlier this year. Lucy has been drawing for as long as she can remember, she loves mixing traditional media to create artwork that celebrates small moments of connection and the magic that can be found within the everyday. Through experimenting with cutting and folding paper, Lucy loves to create immersive worlds that feel as though they are inviting their readers in. Lucy works from her home studio, where she is often joined by her dog, George, a good audiobook and lots of cups of coffee. When Lucy’s not writing or illustrating, she is usually immersed in stories in all of their forms - books, films, a really good TV series, she loves to explore the natural world, and experiment with cooking.
