Mojca Novak

Illustrator

Mojca Novak (Mocculere) was born in Ljubljana, Slovenia, where she studied Pedagogy and East Asian Cultures at the Faculty of Arts. She is a freelance illustrator, focusing mainly on children’s book and editorial illustration. Her most recent work is her author picture book Picopaco (Flying Eye Books, 2025). She regularly writes and illustrates for Slovene language magazine Galeb.

When Mojca’s not in her home studio, she’s probably outside chatting with her 5 hens or reading a book.
