Patrick Laurent is an illustrator and author living in London with his wife and three kids.

Patrick studied a BA in Fine Art in university in the states with a focus on design. He has gone on to have over 20 years of experience working as a designer and freelance illustrator. During that time he worked with different types of organizations such as clothing brands, greeting cards, wholesale home products and publishers. In 2020 he received a message through Instagram that has led him to transitioning to writing and illustrating books where his heart has always been.

Patrick grew up watching Saturday morning cartoons, 80s TV and movies, reading comics and playing with action figures while constantly drawing and creating stories and illustrations. He loves to create stories filled with imagination, adventure, a hint of mystery and a splash of goofiness.

In a world that is filled with instant everything, Patrick loves creating stories that help the reader to be present and swept away on an adventure that leads us to take on our own adventure.
