IllustratorPaul Delaney is an Irish illustrator and children’s book author whose work combines whimsical characters and playful design with his distinctive sense of humour and warmth. Drawing inspiration from the animal kingdom, Paul creates joyful, character-driven illustrations that are instantly recognisable for their punchy graphics, textured finishes and mischievous spirit. From cheeky seagulls to rebellious chickens, his characters reflect his love for creating art that uplifts, entertains and connects. Paul is the creator of the Look Out! Hungry Animals series, published by Kumusha Books. These interactive board books, praised for their humour and visual appeal, have introduced countless young readers to his energetic style and playful narrative voice. He has also contributed illustrations to a number of children’s titles, including Says Who?, (Farshore), Jenny Peckles Lays Eggs with Speckles (Farshore), and I See the Moon (O’Brien Press), further establishing his versatility as a collaborator in children’s publishing.
