World Book Day titles announced
Aleesha Nandhra and Claire Powell have both been selected to illustrate titles as part of World Book Day’s 2022 £1 book initiative. Aleesha has been signed up to illustrate Ben Bailey Smith’s middle grade book, The Last Word, while Claire will be illustrating the latest in Simon Farnaby’s humorous middle grade series, The Wizard and Me. Both will be released in the lead-up to World Book Day 2022.
World Book Day 2022 falls on the 3rd of March next year, and aims to distribute over 15 million £1 book tokens to children around the UK and Ireland, in partnership with schools. The tokens can be swapped for a free World Book Day book at participating bookshops.
A big congratulations to Aleesha and Claire!
